PNP’s Buchanan continues to claim victory in W.C St. Andrew

PNP caretaker for West Central St. Andrew, Paul Buchanan, is insisting he won the seat in the September 3 general election.

He made the claim during a recent podcast interview.

West Central St. Andrew is represented by Prime Minister, Dr. Andrew Holness.

Holness tallied 7054 votes to Buchanan’s 4953.

That victory has been affirmed by the Electoral Commission of Jamaica, and there’s no evidence of any impropriety.

But according to Buchanan, his canvas was showing clear signs of victory.
